You could imagine it’s her name; actually, it’s the Welsh for “a lagoon”: this picture celebrates the current combination of warm weather and very clear seas. Based on a very scrappy beach sketch: when I got home I started laying on colour remnants from my palette using lots of old thinners; those washes dried lightning fast in the sun and I then continued with fresh paint. An occasion when Prussian Blue, a colour one has to be careful with, truly delivered the goods!
