Three crates of Adam Pearmain, all picked yesterday ahead of last night’s wind and rain. These are American milk crates (delivered of course by Neptune’s International Dairy) which, true to imperial tradition, are internally 12 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 12 inches high.
A lovely apple, for keeping the best of all the varieties I grow.
