I thought it had “potential”.
So I carefully cut round it,
eased it from the tin and,
having scraped the still liquid paint
off the underside, set it to one side
on a sheet of art card.
with a very dark yacht blue
recovered from the wreck of
the sailing cruiser Captain Fantastic
(a story for another day!).
having added chiaroscuro with artist’s oil white:
Blue Moon.
I originally thought I might add some stars…
