Because of some very high spring tides, it took a while for the floating rubbish swept towards us by Storm Agnes to come ashore. Luckily when it did a few days ago some of our locals set to, and gathered and hauled up this collection of plastic pollution – no surprises, mostly fishing related.
I must confess that, selfishly, on my recent trips down to Marloes Sands I was concentrating on useful-looking pieces of timber! But this is still a “green” thing to do, if the wood I bring home stands in for virgin timber I would otherwise be buying from a builders’ merchant.
