Set off to walk up to the Beacon; went back to grab my old Pentax DSLR, and then I could walk up to the Beacon…! In bygone days, I would have loosed off a few Kodachrome shots on such an evening. I suppose these views sort-of make up for not seeing the green comet tonight: the sky doesn’t look promising at the moment, but I will check again before bedtime.
