Catching up time: I found this board on Musselwick Sands on 30th August. Part of a large vessel’s stern warning notice which would have read something like PROPELLER KEEP CLEAR. Quite complicated timber plank construction – but I would expect most modern ships to have plywood (or even plastic) signs.
